Emma Samanda Sorenson finds a diary about her missing aunt who had disappeared
and was never seen again. Now with the diary, maybe Emma can figure out this
mystery. The diary leads her to the Kinsman House, which is luckily up for rent. She
meets the owner, Royal Kinsman, and he lets her know right away that she can rent the
house, but never to go into the Attic. She is very attracted to Royal, but she has a
mystery to solve, so she agrees and moves in.

Royal Kinsman knows a little about the curse on the Kinsman clan. So he has tried to
stay away from love and attachment. After a lot of thought, he agrees to let Emma rent
the house, but with the agreement she is to never go into the attic. Royal is attracted to
Emma like he has never been to another woman, but to love her could be tragedy for
both of them.

Royal is fighting his attraction to Emma as hard as he can, but just thinking about her
makes him hot. One night Emma is drawn into the attic, and after opening an old trunk is
swept back in time. When Royal realizes what happened to Emma, he knows he has to
go after her. While they are swept back in time, will Royal admit his love for Emma? And
can they find the key to the way back home?

This was a lovely time travel romance with a few funny ghosts! These characters had me
laughing one minute, and a chill up my spine the next. The story was woven with humor
and mystery, and sprinkled throughout with spirits. Add in the plot, and you have an
entertaining read. Although there was no sex between the hero and heroine, the sexual
tension was sizzling. If you love a romantic old fashion time travel romance, this is the
read for you.
