Brooke Rawlings is an investigative reporter who is raising her sister’s son, Jeremy,
after her sister died in a car accident. Lately, her nephew is beginning to act remote and
is failing in his most of his classes. Brooke knows that Jeremy is into something
dangerous. As a reporter, she looks into what is going on; and Jeremy’s teacher,
Matthew Grant, wants to help. As attracted to him as she is, her concern is for Jeremy or

Matthew Grant is one of Jeremy’s teachers. He realizes that there is something dark
going on within the school, and he thinks Jeremy is in the middle of it. When he talks to
Jeremy’s aunt, Brooke Rawlings, he first sees an attractive woman who is too nosey for
her own good. He tries to tell her to stop investigating. But when he sees she will do
anything to find out what is going on, he tries to help her.
Together, Matthew and Brooke are trying to find out what Jeremy is doing. Jeremy
swears he cannot tell Brooke, and that he is only trying to protect her. Brooke finds out
that her sister was investigating a missing student before her accident. But was her
sister’s death an accident? As Brooke and Matthew get closer to what is happening,
they are also getting closer in their relationship. Can they sort out this mystery? And in
the end, will it leave Brooke and Matthew with a future?
Ms. Bingley penned a superb mystery that will take you on a ride you are not soon to
forget. She creates a variety of characters to make the plot more interesting. She gives
them all a little mystery, loaded with action, and pretty soon you are on a roller coaster
ride that takes so many twists and turns it leaves you breathless. This who done it will
