she no longer feels guarded. Her heart is also under attack when she discovers her real
love for Jack. She never expected him to be there for her morning, noon, and night -
igniting a fire in her that is hard to extinguish. When Jack gets a phone call from Becky’s
brother, he cannot believe someone wants Becky dead just to flush her brother from his
undercover work, but Becky is the duck, and now Jack is her shield. Unfortunately he
never expected his real feelings for her to surface.
A Surgeon Worth Waiting For is a cleverly penned eye catching story with believable
characters. The banter between Becky and Jack is loaded in sparks and the chemistry
flows at a good pace, making the story a remarkable read. Ms. Milburn tells a lovely
story that is delightful.
