Kean Phelan is a wolf shifter, the alpha male that is head of his clan. With Halloween here, he decided to host an annual party, providing his clan “escorts” to entertain them throughout the lustful night. Little did he know that his possible mate would arrive and his problems were about to get worse.

Callie is an outsider and everyone around her knows it. What seemed to be a fun filled night was slowly morphing into a horror story straight out of a nightmare that didn’t end. It’s up to Kean to stop the madness and protect his mate. But will he be strong enough to defend her against his own clan?

This is a delightful paranormal story. The characters are well rounded and interesting and the plot is full of action. There are also plenty of sexy love scenes that make the pages sizzle. My favorite part was when Callie first met Kean, and the electricity that sparked between the two. This is definitely not a story to pass up. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Waters works in the future.
