When not with Rio, Lola finds herself at the mercy of the captain and Odette, where they engage in steamy sexual antics that leave Lola unfulfilled. Rio, busy with his position as head of security, finds Lola to be a breath of fresh air and finds himself falling in love with this daring spitfire. Lola finds Rio to be a man who expresses his feelings for her freely and that makes her doubt them, after all, this is a fantasy cruise, right? Unbeknownst to Lola, things are not what they appear to be.
Ms. Melissa MacNeal has written a hot erotic romance, full of all sorts of sexual encounters and a mystery too. Lola is your typical modern woman used to being in charge, in and out of the bedroom wishing she could just give up control for just a little while. When she’s abandoned, she contemplates her choices. Rio is the sexy Spaniard with the wounded heart who falls for Lola. His grief, replaced with hope her willingness to be both child and woman both, enchants him. This sexual romp on a cruise ship is a hot read that definitely had me snagged. Lola and Rio’s imaginative couplings and their obvious attraction burned the pages, leaving this reviewer wishing for her own man in uniform. This is the perfect escape.
