Vampires and Shifters
Rating:

Lalita is a vampire into the Goth scene who, from all outward appearances, is human,
allowing her to blend in when she goes clubbing. Her sights are on Gareth, the leader of
their little group at the club Strigoi. Torn between her needs and what her parents want,
she considered just how powerful her desire for the human Gareth would be.

Gareth enjoys the Goth scene and watching Lalita dance. He wants her, but is puzzled
by the fact that he is unable to read her. Then there is her overly friendly behavior and
her cliché attitude about vampires, something he will need changed. The challenge is
convincing her that it was more than a one-time thing between them.

While Lalita enjoys that Goth scene, she is more intent on having Gareth notice her.
Once he does, things heat up both on and off the dance floor. The only problem is Lalita
is a vampire who refuses to bring Gareth into her world and now her parents have come
to visit. What is a free spirit to do when everyone seems determined to clip her wings?

Ms. Lynn gives readers a new twist to the vampire novel, with sensual characters that
are tortured not by the circumstance of their existence, but by their desire to have what
may be beyond their reach. Ms. Lynn’s males are sexy, intelligent, and oh so bad boy in
their attitudes that they sent this reader in search of more. She found it to with Novel
Experience and I will be looking for more of her fabulous vampires. Good luck with the
series.
