At First Sight

Whitney Elena Adams works for an international charity foundation and while returning from lunch gets stuck in an elevator with a handsome stranger who holds her till they are rescued.

Bradley Martin Wright has been on the road for fourteen years and after holding the gorgeous Whitney in his arms in an elevator, he definitely has a reason to come off the road and get to know her better.

After only sixteen hours of discussing all of their hopes and dreams, likes and dislikes, Brad and Whitney declare their love for each other. Bradley asks Whitney to marry him but first he would have to ask her father. Would their parents approve of their hasty decision?

Ms. Hamby has written a great sequel to Sukie’s dance. Whitney and Brad’s unorthodox courtship will make any reader believe in love at first sight. I really like this story.

Jack and Jenny

Jennifer Barrie has had a secret crush on her brother Mark’s friend and business partner, for almost five years and now they would be forced together at Mark’s wedding.

Jack Mckenna has been waiting on the right time to tell Jennifer the feelings he has had from the moment he first met her. His friend Mark always told him it was not the right time, and he believed him until Jennifer’s sister, Kimmy, spills the beans about Jennifer’s childhood crush on him.

Jennifer and Jack have obstacles and misunderstandings between them until one rainy night where they express their true heartfelt feelings.

Ms. Rebecca Ruger has written a cute love story of secret crushes with an overprotective brother and a mouthy sister. Jenny and Jack hide their feelings too well although to those who know them well, it is all too obvious. I enjoyed this example of taking chances to get what you want.

Bride’s Maid in Heaven

Katie and Janie Kleeble are twins. Janie is supposed to be getting married to Mack in two days. Fortunately for Janie, Katie has a way of fixing all the little problems that tend to occur and she tries to stress the idea of priorities on the frazzled bride-to-be.

Brad is Mack’s best friend and best man and he, in cahoots with Katie, tries to smooth over the little misunderstandings that pop up between Mack and Janie as their wedding day looms nearer.

Katie and Brad are both the levelheaded individuals, who try to ignore their growing feelings for each other, but of course they have their goals already mapped out and finding a mate is not part of their plans.

Ms. Lyndell King has written a cute story of what could and does go wrong during the planning and execution of a wedding.

All three of these stories give a happy glimpse of different situations in our eternal quest for love. You never know when it will pop up.
