Lewis Cole is a reporter for the Shoreline Magazine. When he met archaeologist Jon
Ericson in Tyler Beach, New Hampshire, their conversation always centered on the
archaeologist’s assumption that his Viking ancestors had recognized colonies near the
New Hampshire coastline. When Jon calls Lewis and invites him over with information
to prove his theory, Lewis arrives only to find the police at a crime scene. Who could
have committed such a crime? As he starts putting the pieces together, someone
tampers with the lug nuts on his car, leaving him even more curious to the mystery. Now
he will do whatever it takes to avenge Ericson’s death and find those artifacts.
Detective Diana Woods is after a killer. She insists that Lewis stay clear of her
investigation. She has her own ambitions when it comes to handling a case, and needs
no meddling. She tries to get her point across but finds out that he is one hard head that
refuses to heed her advice. Can she agree to give him some leverage so the killer can
be found before Lewis ends up the next victim?
Buried Dreams is a book that holds you paralyzed until the end. The action is intense as
soon as Lewis meets with Jon - until the dramatic conclusion. It was like a speeding
locomotive the way Lewis roamed through New England searching for answers. The
plot is well written, along with the dialogue. Diana is a very strong female in the book. I
liked the determination of Lewis. He will not give up until he finds the killer.
Mr. Dubois gives this story depth and well rounded characters that make this book
spine chilling. He crafts an action packed mystery that will not disappoint the readers.
Get ready for a fast and furious ride that is sure to please any mystery buff. This book is
worth the read.
