Sommer is thrilled with her catering company, Afternoon Delights. Of course her friend, Nina, believes the psychics’ reading helped. Now Sommer just needs a lover. She desires Caleb but knows it will never work. Caleb craves one woman, Sommer. He believes if he bides his time, she will soon be his. It makes no difference she is human and he wulfen. After hearing she seeks a lover, he informs her the only lover she will be taking is him. She does not think friends should become lovers. He intends to show her just how deep his love is for her. When his father informs him he must have his permission to take a mate, it is left up to Caleb to decide to continue his quest for Sommer or forfeit leaving the pack.
Caleb’s Woman is a passionate hot tale showing the depth of two lovers drawn close together by friendship. The way Caleb and Sommer respond to each other is cleverly composed. The one trait I admire about Caleb is how he will do anything to make sure the woman he loves is extremely content in everything. Sommer is a strong woman seeking to stand alone in her actions. Eve Vaughn pens a sizzling read depicting a wide-range of emotions between two people trying to resist temptation. I also like how she blends in the family issues in this delightful read.
