Veronica is a slightly pudgy librarian approaching thirty, with no sign of a relationship in
her future. All she has is her cantankerous cat Sebastian, who has just gotten her
evicted from her apartment. Oh well, it is time for her to think about buying a house
anyway. She loves her new Victorian home and the view next door.
Scott Davis is tired of being single. The women he attracts are only interested in his
looks, not in a life with him. One night he sees his sexy new neighbor getting ready for
bed and it is love at first sight. Now all he has to do is convince her that he is more than
just a pretty face.
When two new neighbors meet, there is an immediate attraction. An unfortunate
misunderstanding could ruin the whole relationship if they let it.
These two characters are so very likable right from the beginning of the story. Scott is
almost too good to be true, and Veronica is no where near as plain as she thinks she is.
They have their ups and downs, but in the end find true love with each other. The author
tells their story so well, the reader will not be able to put this one down.
