Beatrice and Chloe Crowell are twin sisters with very different interests. Beatrice is impulsive while Chloe loves books and thinks first before acting. People seem to find Chloe attractive but Beatrice never lets other opinions come between them.

Nicholas, the Marques of Thayne, is a stubborn man who knows what he wants in life. He has a mental picture of his ideal woman and sticks to it until he meets Beatrice Crowell. Now, he has to figure out what his ideal is really like.

Beguiled by Chloe, Edward Randson feels he was tricked and dismisses her as unsuitable. Later, he regrets his actions, but his pride gets in the way and he must decide what is really important in a wife.

The opportunity to go to London for a season is a dream come true for the Crowell sisters. With the help of their godmother, Beatrice and Chloe set out to conquer the ton. They fall in love, but due to circumstances beyond their control, end up in compromising situations. The only way to save their reputations is by marriage. They do not want marriage because it is the honorable thing to do. They want love and romance in marriage. Will the men be able to figure this out?

This is a charming story of love and honor with a wit that had me giggling. The characters are sensational and I could relate to the young women's feelings. Lady Henrietta had me laughing at her antics. The girls really know how to keep the men in line. Truth is always best and this story shows that. Remember, never leave out the romance!
