Gertrude Finch is a feminist from America who travels to London to meet family she has
there. She is a strong-willed woman who has finally met her match in a staunch Brit.

Blake Sanders is very snobbish, a part of London’s high society, and has just found out
his wife has left him. Through a set of misadventures he has fallen in love with a loud
mouthed woman from America.

This couple is truly a case of opposites attract! They could not be more different from
one another than black and white! He is a proper English gentleman; she an outspoken
women from America. The adventures these two find themselves in are nothing short of
hilarious.

I found myself rooting for this couple as I smiled and chuckled through their
misadventures across the oceans, in both countries. The relationships between the
main characters and the background cast worked so well I had a hard time putting this
one down. The humorous way the story played out makes the reader feel a part of the
story. I am a new fan of Ms. Bush’s writings and Highly recommend this humorous love
story!
