Tristan Northland has a twin named Will. Their family runs a used bookstore specializing in the occult. Recently, their grandmother died and they now have her Book of Shadows. Tristan, who lives in London, has decided to travel to New York to right a centuries old curse. Long ago, Tristan’s ancestor cursed the Sterling family and now Tristan wants to help Benjamin Sterling reverse it. However, Tristan is in for a surprise when he meets the man and finds he is attracted to him.
Benjamin Sterling is a businessman and also a werewolf. His ancestor jilted a witch and she in turn cursed him and his bloodline. Benjamin is divorced, with a young son. He would do anything to prevent his son from having to experience their curse. Maybe there is hope in the form of Tristan Northland who claims to, perhaps, be able to lift the curse. Benjamin distrusts Tristan and never considers he could develop feelings for him.
Determined to help the Sterling family break an ago old curse, Tristan flies to New York to offer his help. There he meets Benjamin, the latest member of the Sterling family to suffer from being a werewolf. As the two men spend time together, Benjamin’s wolf soon realizes that Tristan is his mate. The sexual longings between the two continue to intensify. Although Benjamin fights his feelings for Tristan, Tristan refuses to allow him pushing for more from him. As they draw near to finding an answer to breaking the curse, will they also discover that by breaking it there could be consequences to be paid?
Ms. Aile has written a wonderful, intense werewolf story. The sexual couplings between Benjamin and Tristan are extremely hot. This story is definitely fast-paced and exciting. Ms. Aile had me enthralled from the very first page. I look forward to reading more stories written by this author.
