Lisa Bolinski is a vice cop with the Dallas Police department. There is something major
going down, and Lisa is sure that she is in the middle of it. They team her up with a
rookie, Nick Odessa. Lisa knows that Nick is not all he claims to be, and she is not
going to trust him, no matter how much she desires him. But just this once Lisa wants to
trust someone and have help, but should it be Nick?
Nick Odessa is a Texas Ranger who is called to go to Dallas because someone high
up in the DPD is running an organization. He has heard that Lisa is a suspect. After
being teamed up with her, Nick finds it hard to believe she is guilty, and harder to keep
his hands off her. But Lisa is hiding something and Nick is going to find out what.
Lisa and Nick have to work closely together while shoving their desires aside. They do
not trust one another and after Nick’s cover is blown, Lisa goes to Nick and they form a
plan to find out who is behind the organization. But inside the DPD, there is more than
one bad cop. Can Lisa and Nick get to the bottom of things before one of them is
killed? When all is said and done, will Lisa and Nick get a chance to share their
feelings?
This is a great romantic suspense. It is well written with loads of twists and turns that
keeps you wondering who is behind all of the treachery. Lisa and Nick are great
characters that you get to know really well and understand. This story is action packed
from beginning to the end. I was totally immersed until the story was over. The sex
scenes are hotter than summer desert sand. Dallas Vice is a great read and wow, for
only a dollar, you cannot beat that.
