| DANCE OF THE SEVEN VEILS CRIS ANSON ISBN # 1-4199-0118-4 January 2005 Ellora's Cave Publishing www.ellorascave.com E-Book $5.95 125 pages Contemporary Rating: Lyssa Markham has just endured a nasty divorce. In an attempt to regain her self-confidence in her sexuality, she attends a party at an infamous sex club. When she meets a very sexy man there, she allows him to touch and kiss her body but pulls away before the act goes any further. With this man still on her mind, she visits her ex-husband's lawyer's office in an attempt to settle a problem with their college bound daughter's tuition, she finds something that really blows her mind. Robert Savidge is enthralled by the beautiful woman who attended one of the parties at his father's home. It is a stroke of luck when he sees her again. Determined to have Lyssa in his bed, he pursues her relentlessly. Lyssa and Robert are fabulous characters whom I enjoyed reading about. The sex scenes are so hot they could make Hell feel like it has air conditioning. The supporting characters are fascinating and add a lot of zip to the story. George Markham is such a jerk of an ex-husband that I badly wanted to punch him in the nose. The details of the Platinum Society make an effective plot device. The plot line kept my attention until the very last page was read. Ms. Anson is a talented author who has written a terrific story of a woman discovering her own strength and capabilities. I recommend Dance of the Seven Veils to anyone who enjoys contemporary tales with heroes who are sexier than sin. I am sure this book will remain on my keeper shelf for many years to come.
