Finally, after struggling for years, Ash Collins is a famous songwriter.  He has  the
prerequisite trappings of that success and the wife to share it with.  On the first night in
their new home, he spies an alluring neighbor through her sheer red curtains.  Since Ash
is a faithfully married man, he quickly averts his gaze, but that sight stays with him.

Tavia instantly felt a connection to her new next-door neighbor, but as he is married, she
distances herself from that temptation.  As a vampire, she knows there is time.  After all,
to her, time is relative.

The following ten years of fame, fortune and a straying wife find Ash divorced and again
thinking about his next door neighbor.  Unbeknownst to him, Tavia is thinking along
those same lines and this time, there is no reason to deny her curiosity.

So begins the first installment of Dangerous Cravings: The Red Curtain by Kate Hill.
This tale of vampires, telepathy, and all things paranormal is an entertaining yarn full of
diverse characters, each of whom have a story of their own to tell.  The dialog is easily
recognizable and believable, making the pace comfortable without being rushed.  The
journey is chock-full of twists that enlighten and surprise, leaving this reader eagerly
anticipating the next installment.  This book is a keeper.
