Jannet Greenway is an English teacher. When a tornado hits her house and tears it
down, she has to move.  She finds a new home in Foxglove Corner for her and Hawley,
her collie. She meets her neighbor Camille Forester, and they get alone very well.
Camille has a beautiful garden of flowers, and everything in Jannet's life is peaceful.

When the tornado hit, it uncovered a journal over thirty years old. The local newspaper
gets possession of the journal and prints installments from it each week in the paper.  A
story unfolds on how a woman was abusived by her husband and how she plots to kill
him.  The town people will not stop gossiping about who could have murdered Richard
Vesper, the abusive husband, how he deserved it, and who could have planned and
accomplished his murder.

Sheriff Deputy Crane Ferguson meets Jannet, and they start dating.  When Camille
starts getting threatening letters, he tries to protect them both and sends a bodyguard
over to Camille¡¯s house. Jennet¡¯s life turns upside down while she tries to help a
friend stay alive.  Jennet never thought she would be drawn into a murder mystery and
time is running out for her to save her friend Camille.  Can Crane save her from herself
and claim her love?  Or, will he be too late?

Ms. Bodoin has written a thrilling tale with an exciting climax with a ¡°who done it¡±
suspense.  The characters are well written. The plot is wonderful and unexpectedly done.
With DARKNESS AT FOGLOVE CORNERS, you never know what is around the corner.
