Megan Beaumont is trying to forget the case that has changed her life as she enjoys her daughter Emmie. Yet, she knows things are not over. Something is about to happen. She knows this because she is once again having the dreams that are more like nightmares. Her psychic powers are showing her that the horror of the Angel of Death is about to begin again.
Jack Montgomery has never forgotten Megan and longs to see her again. The past six years have gone by too fast. He knows her help is needed again, but since she left once, he is not sure he can convince her to return. Jack needs her to heal him completely.
The Angel of Death is back and the city is terrified. Everyone was sure the killer was long gone. Megan believed otherwise but could not prove it. When the dreams return, her grandma begs her to stay out of it but Megan cannot since the man enters them more forcefully than the last time. She needs to see it through and that means facing Jack, which could be good or bad. Megan must decide which way she wants to take it.
Megan wants to help solve the case but Jack only wants to pick up their relationship where it left off. Truthfully, Megan really does not want to be there in the first place. Ms. Eason tells a scary story full of twists and turns. I was completely surprised at who the real Angel of Death turned out to be. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat and can make you a little jumpy. I am impressed at the realistic portrayal of the police force as well as the events that occur.
