The Orgasm Fairy by Ashleigh Raine
Cammie Witherspoon was a very selfish woman; was. Now, she has to pay for her
self-serving life, forever cursed to be an orgasm fairy. This would not be so bad if she
could actually have one herself.
The erotic poetry night brings Neal out looking for some eroticism of his own. His
arousal for Cammie, as she recited up on the stage, amazes him. He wants to prove to
her that sex is not just about the sex. Too bad he is on an impossible mission, or is he?
Cammie knows she is not able to have orgasms, but she still wants everything that goes
with it. Neal has her body on fire. The two of them dance around their attraction for a
while but finally let the sex take them to new heights. Cammie wonders how this man
can affect her so, given her situation. Neal has a surprise of his own.
I loved the concept of an orgasm fairy and enjoyed the story. Although the notion of
complete strangers discussing such intimate details immediately seemed a little
unbelievable. The story on the whole was very entertaining and humorous in parts.
Cammie and Neal are likeable and the sex very hot between them. It definitely is worth a
read and a giggle.
Overcome by Marly Chance
Captured by the Lansorians, Ansley awaits interrogation. She has no intention of giving
up any information, no matter how painful,or pleasurable. Even if it is her sexy former
partner questioning her.
Flynn has worked beside Ansley before, they now worked independently, picking up
contracts from the Interplanetary union. He is impersonating her enraptor, hired for her
interrogation.
On the small planet of Lansor, they also hold the Tressarian Finance Minister for
questioning. It is Flynn's job to get her back, he also wants to rescue Ansley. The
Lansorians have a unique way to get information from their prisoners. An enraptor must
come in and put them through inmeasurable pleasure, ravishing the body, until the
information is offered. Failing that, the enraptor will then subject them to pain and
torment. Together these two must play the game until it is time to try for escape.
This is an excellent story. I really enjoyed the idea of the unusual interrogation methods.
The story kept me interested from the first line and the rapport of Ansley and Flynn is
extremely well written. A concise, exciting and arousing work which will be thoroughly
enjoyed and reread.
Secrets We Keep by Mandy Roth
Trisha Holt has a bad case of 'if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you are
with'. She wants her best friend of seven years, Dane; but she thinks he is not attracted
to her.
Dane is a burly man with a wild edge. He loves Trisha, always has, but it is against the
laws of the pack to mate with a human.
After yet another failed relationship with yet another drop-kick man, Trish finds solace
with Dane. He is always there for her and looks out for her when she discovers her
fiancé is seeing other women. The emotional and sexual pull becomes too much and
Dane takes her as his own. The trouble is, he scares the wits out of Trisha when she
discovers what he is . Will this change her feelings for him?
A very hot read. The sex sizzles, and Trisha and Dane really make it happen. Mandy
Roth knows how to get the blood pumping. This is a classic storyline told with a
refreshing contemporary flavor. True love always finds a way and the happy ending is
heart warming.
A Love Eternal by N.J.Walters
Genevieve stands on the bridge, traffic whizzing behind her. She has come here to
contemplate her life and face death.
In the shadows, Seth studies her. Her everyday girl next door look gives over to the
strong sexual pull he feels for her. He comes to her as a total stranger, hoping she will
accept his passion.
Never before has Genevieve felt her body come alive with passion. The look of the
powerful stranger named Seth has her body alight with sexual need. Together they
reach heights neither has ever dreamt of but Seth is someone that nobody wants to
spend time with. Will Genevieve be able to overlook who he is?
Quite literary in the beginning, A Love Eternal gives us plenty of mystery and scorching
sex, immediately. For a little while, I wondered if there was to be a point to their meeting.
Once the twist is unveiled, it becomes one of the more original short stories I have read;
and the change of pace was welcome. This story is completely enthralling from
beginning to end, capturing style changes nicely within the unexpected storyline, N. J.
Walters has my attention.
Keeper of Tomorrows by Ravyn Wilde
Raine is taken from her ordinary life each night by vivid sexual dreams. The last time
she could feel her invisible lover's touch and feel his voice within her. What the hell was
going on with her? Was she going mad?
As a Guardian of the Realms, Talon has rested waiting for the awakening of his Keeper
of Tomorrows. He knows it is Raine, and he needs her help. The hard part will be
convincing her that she belongs to a man who has just walked in off the street.
The sexual path to the knowledge of her true calling is enhanced by a seeding pollen
which Raine cannot get enough of. Talon has her attention: mind, body and soul. There
is a deadly force to be stopped by her if she can just keep her hands and mouth off him
long enough to get the job done.
This is an extraordinary story which I enjoyed very much. These two characters have
loads of charisma and their sexual encounters are insatiable yet satisfying. I hope there
may be more to come from Ravyn Wilde and this unique story and characters.
Seeds of Yesterday by Jaid Black
Trina may have had the look and reputation of a teenage drug abuser, but nothing could
be further from the truth. Her best friend Amy had that problem. As was invariably the
case, Trina bore the brunt of the blame of leading Amy astray when all she did was
protect her.
Along with Amy's disapproving parents, she came under fire from her straight-laced
brother Daniel. He believed the worst of Trina, not knowing where the root his sister's
drug problem actually lay.
After a brief encounter, Daniel and Trina go on to live very different lives in different
countries. Brought together again by the death of Amy, perhaps the truth shall lead the
way.
Well this story truly is the contemporary gem in the paranormal bunch, in this book. We
see Trina's life as a confused sixteen year old and within present time diary recounts.
Trina and Daniel find their way to each other other's arms and the ghost's of a painful
past are finally laid to rest. Seeds of yesterday captured me from beginning to end. Jaid
Black never fails to give readers an emotional gold mine for contemplation, and this
short story is no exception.
Ellora's Cavemen Legendary Tales IV is a refreshingly different set of six stories. All are
super hot and paranormal with the exception of the last. What I loved best was the new
spin these stories had. Each one with an unusual twist or unique idea, this group of
authors present us with a tantalizing teasers of their writing. So much for the tasty
entree, I'm ready to bite into the main meal with each of these talented writers now. I'm
sure they will whet your appetite as well.
