and she is begrudgingly accepted by his crew. Her reoccurring nightmare of the time
spent in the pirate queen’s clutches haunts her, making her leery of tackling that
particular hoyden again. Against Eleanor’s wishes, Robin tracks the Pirate Queen down
and finds himself alone with no crew for backup.
So begins the adventure of Robin and Nora, always searching for treasure, their ideas
clashing and spirited. Their life on the open seas appeals to them both. The sense of
freedom is intoxicating and addictive. How many times will their lifestyle threaten their
lives?
Megan Hart has written a tale of love and adventure, full of pirates, treasure,
leprechauns and magical illusions. The plot line and storyline are easy to follow. The
injection of an old Gaelic language lends credibility to the story. The sex is appropriate
and hot, just enough to propel the story to its satisfying conclusion. I really enjoyed this
fantasy.
