Hal Randall is a psychiatrist posing as a doctor of plastic surgery. He is running an experiment on behavior modification that will help people lose weight. From the moment that Hal reads Lindsey’s file, he feels something for her. When he meets her in person, he lies to her saying he is married. Things only go down hill from there for Hal cannot seem to stop the lies from building.

Larry Darrow is determined to ruin Hal's career by fare or foul means. If he happens to ruin Hal's personal life at the same time, all the better. Larry uses Lindsey to help destroy Hal.

Hal can only hope that in the end, Lindsey will love him enough to forgive his lies.

FAT CHANCE is a fast pace highly comical romance. Anyone who has ever been on a diet program or has bought any exercise gadget can relate to Lindsey. Hal's reactions to Lindsey are humorous but make him endearing. As a villain, Larry is pretentious; and he makes you cheerfully want to strangle him. Terry Campbell is actually Linda Campbell and Bobbye Terry. They created a unique romance story with FAT CHANCE that will have you laughing.
