The leader of the xylon warriors gave Kam Nextor an assignment to save his people from the evil Daegal. To carry out his assignment, Kam pretends to be a turned warrior. On the Sand Moon, controlled by Daegal's people, while carrying out his assignment, he comes across Halah Shirota, a former Xylon warrior to whom he has always been attracted. Desire still flames bright and hot between them.

Halah Shirota has been searching for her sister for a long time. Captured and held as a sex slave on the Sand Moon, she is not sure what will happen to her next. When Kam reappears in her life, she is hopeful that she may be able to overcome the dire straits in which she finds herself.

Kam is convinced that Halah's knowledge of weaponry, and her familiarity with the systems of Marid, may be able to assist him in his task to sabotage the enemy. He just has to talk her into helping him. Kam and Halah have had limited success in overcoming the obstacles in their path. Will joining forces allow them to be successful, and to find love along the way?

Flames of Arousal is the third book in the Xylon Warrior series. The book takes readers on a journey of discovery that makes the most sense if read after the first two books in the series. However, it can be read as a stand-alone. I hope there are more books planned for this fabulous series, as I am most anxious to learn what happens next. Ms. Kerce has a knack for world building that leaves me in awe. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys futuristic romances full of excitement and hot sex.
