Larissalyia (Lacey) Ashanti is on the run and hiding on Earth from an intergalactic mob boss and his minions. She knows she is living on borrowed time. All she wants to do is stay under the radar until it is safe to return home.
Victor MacNaught is the owner of his own security company and has just discovered the woman he is going to marry is cheating on him. Disillusioned and ticked off, Mac just wants to sit at the bar and drink until it all goes away.
When Lacey’s bodyguard drinks drug-laced alcohol, Mac steps in to help the two, little knowing that they are not from Earth. During the fight with the other aliens, he is cut with a blade for which only Lacey’s world has a cure. Lacey cannot leave him behind and instead kidnaps him and takes him offworld. However, something happens that Lacey is not planning for; love. Will Lacey and Mac be able to stay together, or will the differences between their worlds and the laws of Lacey’s universe drive them apart?
Forget About Tomorrow is a cross between great space opera and highly charged romantic suspense. It is full of more twists and turns than you would find on a roller coaster. Resplendent with imagery of other worlds, and cultures far from our own, this book is one to be enjoyed slowly while savoring every word. Ms. Kreger has a talent for drawing out the action in such a way as to keep the reader on their toes until the very last page. The world building is superior in my estimation and the characters highly realistic. It is well worth delving into the universes of Liz Kreger. In fact, I highly recommend it!
