Celestia is a woman with an interesting heritage, her father is the head of the C.I.A., and her mother was a socialite from a long line of thieves. She has tried both sides, but takes after her mother’s side of the family.
Todd Orso was known as one of the “Invisible Men”, the most successful jewel thieves in Europe, until the night when Todd was beaten to the Hortensia, caught and sent to prison. He is determined to get revenge on the person to put him there.
A jewel thief once beaten at his own game is determined to get revenge on the woman who beat him to a job, sending him to prison for a jewel he did not even steal. He finds a woman after his own heart and a partner in crime and life.
This story started out a bit slow with the technical details of a complicated jewel heist, but after the initial scene, the story becomes much more interesting. The chemistry between the two is explosive from the first, and it is fun to see the hound chase the fox. Mole is a surprising character also. The plot is full of interesting locations, action, adventure, and some pretty hot love scenes. Celestia’s feelings towards Todd are confusing, but their relationship resolves itself by the end. The other characters are very well done, particularly her former fiancé and partner Tito, and her father. The climax is very exciting and a bit unexpected, adding to the adventure and the romance of this story.
