Igor who is the size of a human child, and looks more like a dog risks his life to travel magically to Earth to deliver some seriously bad news to Blaze. Neither message makes her overly happy in fact being told she was banished instead of just being punished just seriously pisses her off.

With certain beings not wanting Blaze to return so she can ascend to goddess status hot on their trail, Blaze and Igor must quickly figure out a way back to Mon. But will they be able to make it back in time to save her realm or will all hell itself break loose on them? It is going to take all Blaze's courage and strength to make it through this ordeal in one peace and claim the destiny that was prophesied about her before her birth.

Yolanda Sfetsos has written a wonderful book that is dark and dangerous. The suspense of this story keeps you on the edge of your seat. Her character of Blaze is a tough female demon that pretty much bends everyone to her will one way or the other. The character of Igor is a wonderful side kick character that at times has you forget he is sort of a demon dog. Hellblaze is defiantly a page turner that will keep you guessing until the very end. You will find yourself pulled into this world Yolanda has created by the time you finish the first page.
