Colleen Nance has second thoughts about her upcoming wedding. She has doubts about Kent being 'the one'. He is often rude and bugs her about her weight. She is happy with her body and not everyone finds happiness as a size two.

Colleen is not elated about her wedding plans. After trying to locate a banquet hall for the reception she decides to have a drink - only to be manhandled by a brute man. Joel and his colleagues decide to have a drink after the conference when Joel steps in to save Colleen, only to end up at his hotel room and still wearing a different nametag. After they share a night of passion, Joel learns she is engaged and Colleen learns that Joel is someone she went to school with. When Joel overhears how Kent treats her, he lets Colleen know his thoughts. He tries to tell her that marrying Kent would be a terrible mistake and, after Colleen comes to terms with her real feelings and expresses such to Kent, she hears the real reason for his marriage.

Her Passion is a book that shows how sometimes appearances can be deceiving, as well as matters of the heart. I liked the way the characters unmasked their true feelings before stepping further into something that could have caused complications. And Kent is the kind of man I would like to pin to an electric fence. Ms. McDonald has written an enjoyable book with pleasurable moments.
