After escaping from the human who captured her, Ahryn makes her way to Lugas and asks for his help. She knows he is tormented by what he has done in the past and vows to help him see the good man he is today.

When Ahryn comes to Lugus and asks for his help, he cannot refuse her. They do not realize that their journey will take them to the one place Lugus cannot return. When they do enter into the realm of the Fae, it is to find that Lugus's brother has been sent to the Realm of Shadows and only Lugus can save him. Ahryn can only pray that her love is strong enough to bring Lugas back to her.

The fourth book in her Druid's Glen series is outstanding. Ms. Grant is a wonderful storyteller and this book proves it. The torment Lugus goes through shows just how much he has changed and Ahryn is the angel who can save him. The characters that are introduced in this book only add to the story and support the main characters to make the story complete. I am amazed how Ms. Grant is able to make even the Fae she writes about seem almost like normal humans. The reader can connect with them on some level and share their pain. Anyone who has read the previous books will not be disappointed by this fourth installment as once again Ms. Grant holds them captive.
