Leah Williams loves to help other people. So being a surrogate for her sister is something she is happy about doing. Her job as a midwife definitely helps with her outlook. Her daughter Mary Grace is completely fascinated. Leah just hopes she can give the baby up.

Mark Logan is willing to help his half brother knowing that he will never have to look after the child. His job running his wilderness company keeps him busy but he still makes sure to see his daughter from his first marriage.

Being told your sister is pregnant would be a joyous occasion for most. But the problem for Leah is that she is carrying a child for her sister and is not sure what to do now. She will have to talk to Mark, who is the father and decide what they should do next. They will have to come to terms with the fact that they are going to be parents together, but can they find in it their hearts to be something more? There will be a lot in their way but the struggle just might bring them together.

Plans do change and this one throws every one involved for a loop. Mary Grace had me cracking up since I have a little four year old of my own. Ms. Early created such fabulous characters that made me want to cry, laugh, and hope for the best. I found Leah to have such courage and I admired her for it. The stubborn streak was truly there and everyone involved had to figure out how to make things work. I could not get enough and hope to read more by this author.
