Ambris Grey is a pack Master. He knows the moment he sees Kiera that she is the one he wants as his mate. After a month, he learns of her brother's death and goes to her. When he finds she is gone, he will do anything in his power to save her. Will she accept him or turn him away?

Kiera does not believe that pack Master Ambris Grey truly wants her. She cannot understand why he would risk his life and the lives of his pack to give shelter to someone with a Hunt Mark on them. But after spending a wild twenty-four hours with him, she begins to feel the same way. Ambris is surprised to learn that his name is being attached to the death of her brother. He must now not only get a Hunt Mark lifted from Kiera, but find out who wants to destroy him and his pack.

The premise of the story is a very good one, alhough I found it very difficult to read. The characters are strong, though at times hard to follow. The setting was very well built however and added to the atmosphere of the story. This is one book I will not be reading again.
