The way Jake speaks to her in the soft Cajun voice, you can practically feel the heat rise up from the pages of this book. I loved the way he wanted to take care of Stephanie.

This is my first book by Toni Blake. It won’t be my last. I liked the way she blended romance with heated passion. I loved the New Orleans setting. Hot, seductive and alluring action draws the reader in until the last page. Stephanie is compassionate and Jake, the hero, is charming. The characters are so engaging that once the book is finished, it is hard to forget them. The storyline was truly touching and the chemistry between the two so hot that heat burned between every page. Ms. Blake’s writing is extremely powerful. She allows her characters to emit feelings that draw the reader into the story from beginning to end. This book has heart…you cannot go wrong in reading it. A keeper!
