Kasee Adair is just moving to Coyote Bluff, Arizona, after a divorce. She is now owning her first home and as she is unpacking she notices something very strange going on with the local wildlife.

Sheriff Drake Whiting is the man to come to for Coyote Bluff; he and a deputy work out of the office there. He goes with Kasee to check on what she claims are crazed animals that attacked her car.

This all starts with a blinding light out in the desert with multi jewel toned colors brightening the sky. After Kasee comes to move into her home, she notices there are many birds and animals around outside. Hunter and prey alike, side by side, not moving, just watching her when she goes outside. Frightened, she runs to her car and it is attacked by the animals on the way to town. Shaking, she runs into the Sheriff, literally, and almost collapses on him. After hearing her story he drives out with her to the house and sees for himself the animals with their weird iridescent eyes. After going outside Drake re-enters and comes on to Kasee and they make love, unknowing he is now taken over by an alien himself, his eyes iridescent.

Not sure what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised. This is perfect if you have a few minutes to read. I enjoyed having an alien falling in love with a human and saving not only Earth, but his love. This is a must read for most any reader for a quick pick-me-up. It also left me wanting a sequel, maybe of the next generation, I hope. Something good can come from love, especially when unexpected I have learned, and this holds true for this wonderful tale.
