ISLE OF DESIRE

Rating: 4 Cups
Isabel Asher, a divorced event planner, has decided to return to the island of Isla de Margarita to search out her first love. When they were teenagers, they each agreed to meet again on their thirtieth birthday that they share.
Rafael Cruz has never forgotten the month when Isabel and her family vacationed on his island, nor has he forgotten their pact.
When Isabel nervously goes looking for Rafael, she is a little stunned to actually find him; she had not been sure he would remember their bargain. The connection is still strong between them and it is not long before they do everything to rekindle the flame of their previous adoration. However, is this just a culmination of a past flame that will go out once it is acted upon, or is it the forever love Isabel has been searching for?
This is a beautiful, wonderfully written story. The love scenes are sensual and erotic in the extreme, which made the story very enjoyable to read. The emotions are well evoked and easy to relate to as well. I especially relished the whole process of their getting to know one another again. The characters are well defined and the island well described. This book would be an excellent addition to anyone’s collection, and one I highly recommend.
