Paranormal Romance

Gaelynn Graham learns that her aging parents are no longer capable of caring for
themselves. This is hard on her since she is a school counselor part-time while running
her psychic business. To make matters worse, she is battling the handsome man who
occupies her office space, invaded her heart, and opposes her ideas.
Kyle Cordell wants one thing in life: to be with his two sons after his divorce. He never
wanted to follow in the same footsteps as his inflexible father. He is strained with
hardships, trying to get over the loss of losing his sister when she fled to join a cult. Now
he must share a storefront with Gaelynn, a physic that he is against.
Gaelynn is troubled with her working life as well as her home life. It is hard tying to
manage both ends of the stick and, when Kyle steps into her workforce with opposing
forces, it does not help matters. Kyle shares his own headaches with his divorce and the
loss of his sister when she is killed after joining a religious cult. His father heads an
organization that is against companies that use mind control tactics, of which Gaelynn
owns one company. They both have deep family issues they need to resolve as they
fight their growing attraction for the other.
Jenny’s Legacy is a heartwarming read with pragmatic problems as the sensitive
characters undergo many changes. I loved how Kyle was a strong hero and wished to
carry on his sister’s legacy, while being a devoted father to his sons. The paranormal
effects blended well with the story. Ms. Barnes pens strong family morals while learning
how to overcome obstacles when learning about others. This is a heartrending
remarkable romance that leaves a feel good feeling.
