Riley Hampton is an event rider and owner of beautiful horses. When he meets Juli all his senses go out the window. All he knows is he cannot get her out of his mind. After learning Juli is engaged he tells her he will wait for her. When he finds out she has broken off her engagement to Dr. Harris Monroe, he becomes totally enthralled with her.

Juli and Riley waste no time in getting together. Their first kiss happened quickly and with sparks flying everywhere they become sexually involved. even though Riley said he would wait and Juli was engaged to another man. This seems to be a case of love at first sight.

Ms. Winter has written a spicy, hot little number here. The pictures she paints of the horses, landscaped background, and characters made me want to find a camera to capture each bout of scenery. Although the characters move quickly to be with one another it makes you feel as if love at first sight can truly happen. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Winter's books.
