He can only hope it will go well with the girls’ aunt as well as the woman he has in mind to marry. He has a lot to do in a short amount of time. The mystery he is about to encounter will not be easy to solve.

Kaitlin has had enough of men but when Bryce shows up at her door, she begins to wonder if her feelings are valid. Bryce is surprised by this woman full of spunk and is unsure of what to do about Charley. He still wants to find a woman to marry but starts to think that Kaitlin might just be the woman for him after all. If only he can convince her to agree to it before more things hit the fan.

Being an independent woman is something to which I can relate. At the same time, I am happy to relinquish a few things to my husband. Ms. Gold has a story worth its weight in gold. I loved this historical romance. I have not laughed very hard in a long time and this story had its moments where I could not keep quiet. Kaitlin and Bryce may butt heads along the way but I could only hope that they would end up in each other’s arms.
