Seventeen-year-old Lily Walker, believing she is in love, runs away from home to New

soft spot for her.
Realizing he might be developing feelings for Lily, Cain tries to push her away. As Cain’
s feelings for Lily strengthen, he starts to have doubts about his chosen career. Lily
begins to question the secrets surrounding Cain. Lily finally faces her feelings for Cain
and discovers she loves him. Everything comes to a head when she realizes what Cain
does for a living. Will Lily be able to accept Cain and his past? Will she turn away from
him forever?
This author has written a beautiful love story about an innocent young woman and a
hardened hit man. Watching these characters slowly fall in love was breathtaking and
heart wrenching. This is a book well worth reading.
