LOVE WITH THE PROPER RANCHER Paige Cavanaugh has it all. Standing in her wedding finery, about to take her nuptials, nothing could be better. Her fairytale is firmly in place, until her intended bursts into the bride’s room and announces he is only marrying her to secure his fortune from his grandfather. Drunkenly, he abuses Paige, and shocked, she promptly runs out of town. The town of White Tail has a very handsome and accomplished lawyer come rancher by the name of Ryan Cutter. He is all but revered in the town, and known for his feelings against serious relationships. Finding Paige sleeping in her car in his parking lot, he wastes no time telling her to leave town. In spite of the frosty reception from Ryan, Paige decides perhaps a spell in this small country town may be the time-out she needs. After her first explosive encounter with the Ryan, Paige is determined not to let him have the upper hand. Deep down, she desires him greatly. Ryan feels the pull of this new woman now working in town. As much as he tries to deny it, he soon stakes his claim on her. But how will he react if he finds out she has fled her marriage, and how stupid she feels? Paige is sure she will tell him the whole story ... tomorrow. A wonderful romance. I loved that Paige had feelings and flaws that we all display at times. Her characterisation felt very real to me. A really sticky plot with lovable supporting characters and baddies you love to hate kept me treading on. Ms. Rochelle has done a superb job with her work and I hope to read more from her. Wendy
