Talk about a whirlwind romance; and with the heir to a kingdom. Wow is simply the only way to describe this book. The hardships, trials, pain and sorrow that the characters are faced with are everyday emotions that the reader can relate to. The need to overcome prejudice is strongly felt, and something that affects all of us on some level. Ms. Lacy definitely has an active imagination and it translates beautifully to the written word.
