Alejandro is all Latin male and full of the pride that goes with it. He refuses to let his fellow soccer teammates know about his alter ego, the supremely sexy manicurist Senor Manos, because he believes they would think him less of a man. When he and Kate become study partners, and then more, he does the same thing. But when their relationship deepens, his business partners feel that hiding this from her is wrong and set out to rectify the situation with hilarious results. Kate moved to Miami to escape her staid, repressed family. But now that she is here, she is horrified by the casual and open ways of the people around her. Can she loosen up enough to see that he is the man for her, despite, or maybe because of, their differences?

This is the third in Ms Kendall’s After Hours series and, as with the others, contained a combination of hilarity, hot sex, and heart-warming characters to give the reader just what they crave for ... a satisfying read. I loved the way she portrayed the hero’s pride without making him too macho. The heroine’s reactions to the Miami ‘dress’ code were laugh out loud funny. The author is such a master at her craft that she blends comedy and sexiness extremely well. She has done it again with this wonderful book.
