Simone Porter is a woman who is fed up with being influenced by other people, but most of all her mom. She has a compassionate heart and loves helping others. Her friends see her as gullible, but Simone still gives to those who need it. She is a sweet woman looking for love but does not want help from her mother.

Matthew Turner is just getting over his divorce and is saved by an angel, or at least that is what he thinks. He is a hard working man who gets overwhelmed by Simone. He does not care that there are differences between them. He just knows a woman he can care for and goes after her.

Matthew and Simone’s worlds collide one night after he is run off the road. She calls and gets him help. He drifts into a coma and wakes up later to find a woman beside his bed with his parents. Matthew and Simone start spending time together but never reveal the feelings that they share. Will they ever realize that they truly are right for each other no matter what some of their families might say?

Ms. Skelton is a writer who cannot only write passion well, but also make it real. I was very happy that Simone and Matthew really cared for each other. Matthew got to be protective, while Simone would just melt. It was beautiful to see how their relationship progressed. Simone was not weak by any means, but knew how to work with Matthew to get things right.
