Dana Dupinsky carries many secrets, one being a director of an inner city women’s
shelter. She helps battered woman find refuge. She also carries a secret about herself.
One thing is certain, she is passionately dedicated to her job at Hanover House. Dana
has always been reluctant to look for love. As a case puts her and a child in mortal
danger, it seems that love has come looking for her.
Ethan Buchanan is a security expert who has learned to stalk men in the Afghanistan
desert. Now he is on a chase to find the madwoman who has kidnapped his godson.
When the tracks lead to Hanover House and Dana, her sheer presence seems to chase
away the ghosts that haunt him. Yet there is a deadly new secret where Dana works, a
brutal killer weaving a web of revenge with a stolen boy. Is Dana the next victim on the
list? Can Ethan save the one woman that has finally calmed his spirits?
This book was truly compelling all the way to the last page. I loved the way that Ethan
and Dana met and how the chemistry was written around the two. It was nonstop action
throughout the whole story. Ms. Rose’s flare for writing not only made the characters so
true to life, but the story line as well. The secondary characters were so believable that I
did not want this story to end. Ms. Rose draws you right into the action.
Thoroughly entertaining, truly compelling, and irresistibly, completely gripping, this book
is a thriller you can not put down. The first few pages draw you into the story where every
turn of the page grips you even tighter in your seat. Intense drama, electrifying in every
sense of the word, kudos to Ms. Rose for an excellent book.
