Quinn Nicholas is a reporter working for a local television station in New Orleans. She rents a room in a house owned by two men. Her life is in a bit of a stall because she was passed over for a big promotion at work.

Devlin St. Giles is a Ghost Hunter, but his day job is flipping housing for profit. He lives with Quinn, and his lover Fletcher. Fletcher Covair works with Devlin at the Ghost Hunting gig and is a partner with him in the house flipping business. He and Dev love each other very much.

Dev and Fletcher talk Quinn into coming with them on one of their ghost hunting expeditions; She agrees but is not overly happy at first about going. Quinn is having a little problem with her roommates, she is been having sexual fantasies about the three of them together. To her surprise and delight once they reach the plantation house they are investigating for the weekend, more then just ghost pop up to surprise Quinn.

Nuit Aux Trios really lives up to its name. Loosely translated the title means Night of Three. This story starts steaming up the pages practically from the get go. Wow could you feel the heat between these three characters. The Ghost story was also a very nice added mix to the feelings this story managed to elicit from the reader. This is a perfect story to read on those cooling October nights before Halloween. You get the right mix of shivers from the characters passion, and the story of the ghosts. I really enjoyed reading this story. For a short story you really felt like you were reading a novel. Melinda Barron did a wonderful job pulling the reader right in.
