Her current main wants are to find the killer of eight women and put him behind bars and to get her husband to sign the divorce papers. Only Detective Larry Stevens is trying to make her his, which causes complications.

Larry Stevens only wants Amy to be safe. When she agrees to be the bait for the serial killer, he is against it one hundred percent. He will do anything to keep Amy safe but using her for the bait is not his idea.

Amy and Ry duke it out in front of the department and in private. He wants her but she is not sure she can trust him. When he tells her she will not be the bait for the serial killer, she goes against his wishes and attracts the killer's attention. Now it is up to Ry to make sure she stays alive.

Ms. De Chevigny knows how to draw a reader into her story. This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. The characters are tough and strong and each one has a purpose. The characters try to deny what is between them and Ms de Chevigny uses that denial to bring them to a crossroads. Will Amy accept the love Larry is willing to give or will she run? This is one book you do not want to miss.
