Mike Radford is calendar-hottie handsome. He owns his own well regarded construction company and employs his best friend and roommate, Kevin-- a bad boy ladies man in his own right. Though neither of them have trouble getting dates, they are not opposed to taking advantage of a promising situation when one lands in their laps. If that situation turns out to involve a beautiful piece like Amelia Larson, they may just be in for a weekend to remember.

Amelia turns up at Mike’s job site on a cold and rainy day. Divorcing the man with whom she was building the dream house Mike is working on, she can no longer keep the place, and is desperate to find a way to pay back the money she owes the contractor. She vows she will do anything, even wield a hammer while wearing heels in the rain.

With no carpentry skills and a twisted ankle, Amelia accepts Mike and Kevin’s offer to be their sex slave for the week to pay off her debt. She does not expect to develop feelings for the men, nor does she know what to do when trouble finds her again; in the form of her ex-husband.

The premise of this book isn’t bad. But, with a few exceptions, most of the rest of it is. The story was rife with inconsistencies, bad dialogue, and unbelievable situations. I wanted to like the players, but for the most part their actions were immature, and their interactions, adolescent. A few of the love scenes held promise, however. But for a book to hold up, the story surrounding the sex must be just as engaging. Unfortunately, this one did not hit the nail on the head.
