When she encounters Rusty's cousin, Brad, outside of Amber's new home, Mandi is immediately attracted to the studly sheriff. She has no idea what the facts of his life are, but she will soon learn.

What happens when a gourmet chef meets a small town sheriff, who just happens to be a newly made vampire? A lot of biting and hot times in the kitchen, not to mention a lot of hot sex that would make many a woman green with envy! Drug dealers and angry bulls only add more fuel to the fire. Will Brad and Mandi be able to deal with all of the issues in an effective manner?

Ms. Mays has a way with wit and humor that never fails to make me laugh out loud. Her vampires are hotter than the LaBrea tar pits, and utterly fascinating. The storyline is fresh, fun, and yet heart wrenching in some areas. If you love to read about vampires and romance, then snatch up this wonderful book as soon as humanly possible.
