Pam Holland has no intention of attending her twenty year high school reunion at White-
Ayre Academy, nicknamed Nightmare Academy. This conviction does not last after she
is contacted by an old crush and asked for a date to the event. She decides to go and
ends up finding a lot more than she bargained for.
Jake Ardlow and Dean Morley have been together since college where they were turned
into vampires after pledging a specific fraternity. As close friends and lovers they are
happy together, but both wonder about the one woman they could never forget. Both of
them had a crush on Pam and attend the reunion just to see her again.
This is a new take on reunion and second chance at love stories. I found the idea of a
fraternity of vampires intriguing and unique. The physical and emotional aspects of the
relationship between the two men also adds an additional element of interest to the
story. The plot flows smoothly from one scene to the next and kept me wondering what
would happen next.
I loved this terrific tale of two vampires in love with each other who fall in love with the
woman of their dreams. The sex scenes are hot enough to melt butter and left me
searching for a glass of ice water. Ms. Ballou is a talented author with a knack for
creating characters that touch the reader’s heart. If you love vampires and enjoy stories
of ménage á trois, as I do, then read this book!
