Whispers in the Wind

Grace is filling in for her very pregnant sister at her snack concession in the park. She is upbeat because Madam Zelda said that she would find her heart’s desire today.

Braden is back in town to visit his Aunt Zee who asks him to concentrate on his heart’s desire.

A fortune teller assures two people that today they will each get their heart’s desire, each other.

This is a cute story without much substance or characterization.

Will You Be My Valentine

Beth runs a card and gift store and is very busy with last minute Valentine’s Day customers, but not too busy to help her new neighbor.

Jack is new in town and has his eye on a very special lady. He is looking for the perfect gift.

Two new neighbors make a Valentine’s Day connection.

This is a really sweet story for Valentine’s Day. The characters are not overly developed but just right for the story.

The Red Hat

Beth is excited about her new job and ready for a night at the movies with her friend Tina, until she hears the disparaging remark about her red hat.

Joe regrets his remark as soon as he meets Beth, but is determined to win her over.

This story is sweet but is missing something and just does not flow as well as the others.

This is a good choice for people who really do not have a lot of time to read. The stories are very short and end on an uplifting note, but all of them would be more enjoyable if there was more to them. They share a theme of new love on Valentine’s Day and have likable characters who fall in love for a happy ending.
