| RUNNING FROM LOVE KATHRYN ANNE DUBOIS ISBN # 1-58608-477-1 June 2004 New Concepts Publishing www.newconceptspublishing.com E-Book $4.99 139 Pages Contemporary Romance Rating: Alex has dreams of being a photographer and an artist. She has been running from her past for several years and looks on her new job as photographer on a scientific project in Alaska as a chance for a new start. The professor in charge of the project is not what she expected and could be a problem in her plans for the future. Hawk is not happy with the Native Institute’s choice of photographer for its project. First, the photographer is a woman, and second, she does not appear to be Native American. The main problem he can see is that she is far too attractive for his peace of mind. A young woman running from a tragedy in her past and a misogynistic scientist with a less than happy past of his own try to work together on a university project in the wilds of Alaska. Their relationship, reluctantly started, may prove to be the making of both of them. I loved the setting of this novel. The author accurately described the wilderness and wildlife beautifully. The main characters are both very sympathetic, although their pasts are just a little too mysterious at the beginning. The story itself is very entertaining and I truly enjoyed all of the supporting characters. I really enjoyed this story.
