It broke my heart when Linc told Eve about overhearing his father talking at the funeral
home. He expressed to Linc’s grandfather how he hated him and how he gave up so
much to please him. That was a very tender moment.
The chemistry of the two characters is so hot it leaves the pages smoldering. It is so
supercharged that it could light firecrackers on the fourth of July with no strike of a
match, and just the touch of a page could ignite a keg of dynamite! And that is just the
banter between the two and their families. The sex is even more fiery. Ms. Raye has a
flair for writing that ignites the pen like a burning torch and scorches the paper with
consuming fire. You will not be disappointed in this book.
