Prudence Merriweather is a plus-sized beauty who is a force to be reckoned with in the

Tempting Prudence is in The Sweet Shoppe series and is as much a guilty pleasure as
the magical confections The Sweet Shoppe sells. You can almost see the sparks that fly
between Jonas and Prudence. The way Jonas goes about seducing Prudence is
enough to make your heart melt, and the way she resists makes you want to smack her
upside the head. But when they finally do get together, get out the asbestos suit! The
sex between these two is as hot and explosive as stepping into an active volcano.
Three words come to mind when I think of this story: hilarious, touching, and hot. Ms.
Schroeder has a witty way of bringing the characters to life. When I was not laughing, I
was near tears. Really! I felt so sad when Prudence thought her body was unworthy of
Jonas and nearly cheered out loud when he showed her how wrong she was. I think
women of all shapes and sizes will be able to relate to Pru. This was my first book by
Melissa Schroeder, but you can bet it won’t be my last.
